A few flicks from an eventful weekend!

EVENTS
Ski Weekend was a LOT of fun!

With so many of our brothers having busy schedules and being very involved in college, we do not get as many opportunities as we would like to bond and foster connections with one another. Luckily, Ski Weekend came around just in time. Our Ski Weekend was a trip put on almost entirely by our wonderful VPs of Social Events, Lexi Romesburg and Johanna Cummings. They were able to accommodate nearly 80 people in 5 different houses!

Ski Weekend gave myself and so many other brothers the opportunity to reconnect with members of their pledge class, which is so important when you are not able to see your brothers during the hectic school year.

When asked, Johanna had this to say about how she felt Ski Weekend went: 'Planning a weekend ski trip for a fraternity involves coordinating schedules, transportation, accommodations, and activities. Additionally, factors like budget, location, and weather conditions must be considered to create an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants. Overall, while it can be challenging, planning a ski trip for a fraternity can also be rewarding, fostering camaraderie and providing an opportunity for bonding and adventure. Each year, all of the brothers make some of their favorite memories at Ski Weekend, and it is without a doubt one of the most favored social events we have! It was a pleasure to coordinate and continue the yearly tradition for our Gamma Kappa chapter.'

EVENTS
Chicago Trip was Awesome!

It was time for our brothers to suit up and show these companies why we are the premiere business fraternity at Michigan State. Led by our amazing professional chairs, Udai Singh and Riley Yearwood, the brothers were able to connect with many companies, including Pepsi and Pregis, and learn about the internship and full-time opportunities they are providing. In addition, the brothers got to experience the different company cultures all while strengthening the bonds amongst each other.

Here is what Riley had to say about her experience planning this trip: 'We are so happy the trip went as well as we hoped! Planning the trip was extremely rewarding in many ways. Visiting and networking with top-rated companies such as Pepsi, Plante Moran, and Pregis allows our members to kick-start their professional careers! We also were able to fundraise $7,000, enabling all attendees to go on the trip at no cost.
